Winner of the 2023 CASE Award - Circle of Excellence (Bronze) for Student Engagement
Kids on Campus is a program that aims to give every Grade 4 student in local and surrounding school boards a chance to visit a world-class engineering school, arousing their curiosity in STEM, which ultimately could improve high school graduation rates at absolutely no cost to the student or the schools.
In this one-day field trip, classes visit the Engineering department on campus and get to participate in a hands-on STEM workshop, a tour of some cool areas on campus (read about us at the IQC), a visit to an on-campus lab, and have a chance to meet industry mentors!
Engineering Outreach is in direct communication with school board contacts from WRDSB, WCDSB, HPCDSB, UGDSB, and AMDSB to set up field trips with Grade 4 classes.
Are you an educator in one of the above school boards? Your school board liaison will send out updates and booking links when new sets of dates are available for booking.
