Engineering Outreach, in collaboration with University of Waterloo EngiQueers students, offers programs designed to inspire the next generation of 2SLGBTQIA+ youth to explore futures in engineering. This program was created to address the barriers and unique challenges faced by 2SLGBTQIA+ communities in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), and to foster a more inclusive and representative profession.
Workshops are free for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth and feature mentorship from University of Waterloo EngiQueers students, alongside engaging hands-on activities that showcase the exciting possibilities within STEM!
If you are a community partner who works with 2SLQBTQIA+ youth and are interested in hosting a hands-on STEM workshop or booth activity, please reach out by emailing engoutreach@uwaterloo.ca!
