The Periodic Table Project has been a great succeswith the free tablet apps having almost 50,000 users. The Periodic Table Project App is available for Apple, Blackberry and Android devices.

Chem 13 News magazine ran a contest to design tiles for the four newly named elements, nihonium (Nh), moscovium (Mc), tennessine (Ts) and oganesson (Og). Over 200 submissions were received.  See the new elements contest winners.
