Alumnus startup Pulse wins $3.5M in federal backing

A company founded by a Waterloo Engineering alumnus was recently awarded $3.5 million in startup funding through a federal agency that invests in new clean technologies.

Pulse Industrial, a $25,000 winner in 2018 at the Velocity Fund Finals pitch competition at the University of Waterloo, was one of 16 companies across the country to receive investments from Sustainable Development Technology Canada. To continue reading this story please click here.
