Last week, Master of Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology (MBET) students participated in an immersive learning experience in San Francisco, gaining firsthand exposure to one of the world’s leading startup ecosystems. The trip combined founder insights, industry sessions, and networking opportunities designed to support venture growth and entrepreneurial development.
Throughout the week, students engaged with a range of organizations and experts. Highlights included a session with AWS on scaling technology infrastructure, discussions with a Trade Commissioner on navigating international market expansion, and a visit to Studio 45 to explore venture-building in practice. A Founder Roundtable provided candid perspectives from experienced entrepreneurs, while a Stanford LaunchPad session offered insights into innovation-driven venture creation.
Beyond the formal programming, the trip emphasized the importance of relationship-building. Students connected with founders, advisors, and ecosystem partners, gaining practical advice and expanding their professional networks within the San Francisco startup community.
The experience extended beyond learning sessions. It was an opportunity to build meaningful, lasting connections. Students are encouraged to continue these conversations, leverage mentorship opportunities, and stay engaged with the network they developed throughout the trip.
The MBET San Francisco experience reinforces the program’s commitment to experiential learning and global entrepreneurship, equipping students with both the insights and connections needed to advance their ventures.
