Capstone Catalyst Program Workshop One: Understanding the Problem
Workshop One: Understanding the Problem
Monday, October 6, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
First Floor, Ideas Clinic E7
Hosted by the Problem Lab — Innovation starts with understanding, not solving. Learn how to identify, dissect, and deeply understand problems with the potential for disruptive economic and social impact.
Don’t miss your chance to explore big problems with expert guidance and support.
The Conrad School is excited to launch Capstone Catalyst, a program funded by the Esch Foundation to help you design innovative, high-impact fourth-year capstone projects.
Through workshops and mentorship, you’ll learn how to:
-
Identify meaningful, real-world problems to solve
-
Explore market potential and customer needs early
-
Apply practical business planning tools in manageable steps
-
Build momentum for your capstone across academic terms
Students in their 3A and 3B terms are invited to participate in workshops, and 3B students will also have the chance to receive seed funding to jump-start their capstone projects while exploring their commercial viability.
