This fall term, Enterprise Co-op students submitted five-minute video pitches for prizes of $5,000 at the Ignition Week pitch competition. Each student's video pitch was evaluated by a panel of judges. Meet the fall 2022 pitch winners!
Overbeeke Family Entrepreneurship Excellence Award
The Overbeeke Family Award is awarded based on the development of an outstanding presentation, business model and plan review, clarity of business description and preparedness to lead a venture or social enterprise.

RelayMD is an online specialist directory with up-to-date wait times, procedures, subspecialty info, referral forms and more. With this information, primary care providers can navigate long wait times, avoid declined referrals and get patients the care they need, faster. We want to streamline the referral process, reduce physician workload, increase transparency and improve patient access to care.
Dhvani is also one of the recipients of the Norman Esch Enterprise Co-op Awards this term.
E-Launch Awards
The E-Launch Awards are presented to the winners of the pitch competition among students in the E Co-op program, with a panel of experienced judges awarding $5,000 each.

The Norman Esch Enterprise Co-op Team Awards provides a funding opportunity for student teams in the E Co-op Program. Each eligible team member will receive $2,500 at the start of the work term.

Mechanical Engineering
Elpis is an innovative biotechnology venture aiming to improve the living quality for people living with spinal cord injury (SCI). The main problem they are focusing on is the sharp decline in physical activity participation during the post-rehab period for people living with SCI. Their product, PHANES, is a passive lower-limb exoskeleton for rehabilitation and mobility that is affordable and convenient.
