Student and industry partner working together.

The Conrad School of Entrepreneurship and Business is an academic centre in Canada's largest engineering school, Waterloo Engineering. Focused on teaching, learning and research in the areas of entrepreneurship, innovation and commercialization, our one-of-a-kind programs connect students and industry for maximum impact.

Innovation is a team sport

Outreach activities encompass all our interactions with industry and the global community of entrepreneurs beyond the Waterloo faculty and student body. Let's collaborate.

Startup Venture and Corporate Innovation Partnerships

There are two opportunities for industry to partner with our Master of Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology (MBET) students on projects.

Bridging Entrepreneurs to Technology Students (BETS) Co-op Employment

This program, intended for early-stage companies that are unable to hire full-time 16-week co-ops, provides access to students who can help you achieve short term business objectives through a 12-week placement.

International Summer School Program

This is a four-week adventure for entrepreneurially-minded undergraduate students from all over the world. Students work in teams to create their own start-ups and pitch their idea to a panel of business professionals.

"The Conrad School workshops have helped me to take my research, understand the intellectual property and apply it to a business idea for the healthcare market. Using these new tools, I was able to build a new solution and stop hacks against pacemakers and insulin pumps."
