Award description:
In 2002, Mary Bales, MA English 1972, MA Philosophy 1973 and 2002 recipient of the Arts Alumni Achievement Award, established a scholarship for graduate students in the Faculty of Arts. The student will hold an Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS). The Graduate Studies Committees in Arts, in consultation with the Associate Dean, Graduate Studies and Research, will make the selection.

This scholarship is open to Canadian citizens and permanent residents. Candidates will be selected based upon academic achievement and value of research to the Canadian economy and society.
