International Studies in Engineering Option

Note: All options and minors are subject to changes made by the department hosting the option. The ECE department is not notified of all such changes and therefore you must read the Calendar description.

The Internation-Studies-in-Engineering Option (as specified in the Undergraduate Calendar) requires you to take six (6) courses approved by the Option Coordinator, to take the course GENE 303 International Studies In Engineering, and to gain eight months of overseas experience.  It may be possible to arrange for four of the requires six courses to coincide with acceptable Complementary Studies Electives (CSEs).  Consequently, this option requires you to take at least three (3) (and possibly six (7)) extra courses as well as going on exchange.
