Chris Wilson
Congratulations to electrical and computer engineering professor, and affiliate to the Institute for Quantum Computing, Chris Wilson, and his research group, for publication of their recent letter on quantum simulation with superconducting circuits, “Quantum Simulation of the Bosonic Creutz Ladder with a Parametric Cavity,” in Physical Review Letters. Among the authors are also two electrical and computer engineering students, Jimmy S. C. Hung (MASc 2020), and PhD candidate, Jamal H. Busnaina.

Publication of a letter is a considerable achievement, as Physical Review Letters is the top pure physics journal. That said, this work has also been highlighted by the editors as an Editors’ Suggestion. Only about one letter in seven is highlighted as a suggestion due to its particular importance, innovation, and broad appeal.

Congratulations to Professor Wilson and his research team!
