Brendan Martin (BES '15) is the Aquatic & Terrestrial Biomonitoring Project Coordinator at U-Links Centre for Community Based Research. Learn more about his role in Woodlands & Waterways EcoWatch, a community driven biomonitoring initiative in Haliburton and surrounding areas.

Chris Rickett is the Director of Municipal and Stakeholder Relations at Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (BES '05, Planning). He shares his passion for the environment and sustainability, and how he uses tech to help propel small businesses in Toronto.

From developing energy and climate campaigns for Canadians to leading and advising national organizations, Corey Diamond (BES ’99) is a problem solver determined to have a positive impact. He shares his experince as a key memeber in leading and advising national organizations all across Canada.

Kent Marten (BES ’04) has dedicated his career to making it easier for people and organizations to access and understand spatial data. Over his career Kent has worked with some of the world’s biggest companies on some of the most critical problems in the geospatial industry.

While attending the University of Waterloo, Madeline (Maddi) Leblanc (BES ’19) found a passion for outdoor education. Doing what she loves most, including stand-up paddling (SUP), environmental stewardship, and research, propelled her into a successful master’s thesis research program at Brock University. Today she balances her time studying with teaching stand-up paddling and outdoor education.
