"Voices" is an annual charity event organised by the Global Issues club at Sir John A. Macdonald Secondary School, in Waterloo. The event will be held from 6:30-8:30pm on Wednesday May 31st in the school's main auditorium, with various guest speakers and videos geared toward promoting awareness of a specific world issue. This year the focus is climate change. Chris Fletcher (GEM) will be speaking about the science of climate change, and how computer models are used to make forecasts of Earth's climate future in the year 2100. All proceeds will be donated to the World Wildlife Fund.

The Cryospheric Science Group of the Interdisciplinary Centre on Climate Change (IC³) is pleased to welcome MSc candidate Phil Mann, of Wilfrid Laurier University, to present his research at our seminar this month.  His presentation is entitled:

"High resolution spatial variability of snow depth and water equivalent across a patchy tundra, forest and shrub landscape"
