Professor Geoff Wall recently received a Friendship Award from the Government of the People's Republic of China. The Friendship Award is China's highest honour for "foreign experts who have made outstanding contributions to the country's economic and social progress". The award was presented in the Great Hall of the People as part of the National Day celebrations.
