Billings for G2N lab access for the Winter 2016 will reflect the second stage of our planned fee increases. This increase will bring user fees to $1900/term for 'Academic' lab clients and $3800/term for 'External' clients.

This fee increase will help address the much higher costs which result from the large gap between the values of the Canadian and American dollar at this time.

Plans to progressively raise user fees over the past 5 years have been deferred on a yearly basis in order to ensure the G2N clean room remained an affordable resource for the research community at the University of Waterloo.

During that time, we have absorbed the rising costs for lab supplies and for equipment repairs.
