ETSI/IQC Quantum Safe Cryptography Conference 2024

ETSI and the Institute for Quantum Computing are pleased to announce the 10th ETSI/IQC Quantum Safe Cryptography Conference, taking place in Singapore on May 14-16, 2024. The event will be hosted by the Centre for Quantum Technologies, National University of Singapore.

This event was designed for members of the business, government, and research communities with a stake in cryptographic standardization to facilitate the knowledge exchange and collaboration required to transition cyber infrastructures and business practices to make them safe in an era with quantum computers. It aims to showcase both the most recent developments from industry and government and cutting-edge potential solutions coming out of the most recent research.

The Institute for Quantum Computing (IQC) now offers two different Quantum Innovators workshops to bring together the most promising young postdoctoral fellows.

Join us from November 6–8 for the theoretical stream, and from November 8–10 for the experimental stream.

Participants may choose to attend just their stream, or attend both streams across the five days.

These workshops held at IQC, University of Waterloo, are partly funded by the Canada First Research Excellence Fund (CFREF) as part of the Transformative Quantum Technologies research initiative.

Quantum science and technology is rapidly accelerating globally and is strategically important to Canada. Canada has a strong, growing coast-to-caost quantum community spanning from academia to government laboratories and industry.ude talks by prominent speakers, panel discussion, and networking events enmabling Canadians to showcase excellence in their fields. This three-day event brings Canada's quantum community together to enable awareness and collaboration across the industry.

Speakers from the Institute for Quantum Computing include faculty members:

The Virtual Executive Conferencedebating on the state of the quantum threat and quantum risk management is organized in partnership with the Institute for Quantum Computing (IQC) and TelecomTV .

The Virtual Executive Conference is the first part of the overall ETSI IQC Quantum Safe Cryptography Virtual Event. A second part consists of a Technical Track that will be broadcasted at a later stage. Stay tuned!

Co-organized by the National Research Council of Canada

The meeting brings together the Canadian community of scientists and engineers who perform research and development on spin-based quantum technologies. This will be the third annual workshop, with the main goal to foster spin qubit research and attract and train highly qualified personnel for the emerging quantum technologies sector in Canada.

Join us at the Institute for Quantum Computing for a two-week introduction to the theoretical and experimental study of quantum information processing.

During the Undergraduate School on Experimental Quantum Information Processing (USEQIP) will be exposed to lectures and experiments on the following topics and more.

This 7-day conference aims to bring scientists from China and Canada together, to nourish more extensive collaborations and to educate younger generations. The invited talks covers many aspects of quantum technologies, including quantum information theory and implementation, quantum cryptography and quantum communication, quantum materials, quantum metrology, and quantum foundations.
