Abstract

In this talk, we present a study of the correlations between triplet photons fields generated by a third-order nonlinear interaction. We use an original general model of the photons evolution and develop a protocol to study the correlations, based on the fields interaction by sum-frequency. To do so, we derive a quantum-mechanical expression for the down-converted fields and we model the photons interactions by deriving the operators that represent sum-frequency interactions. This theoretical study, which is valid both for high and low-power regimes and for continuous or pulsed pumping, is then applied to our specific running experiments in KTP crystals and we discuss experimental results.
