Abstract:
In this talk, I present our recent theoretical results on the effect of modulating cavity coupling to the environment, in cQED. First, I show that this modulation leads to squeezing of photon in the cavity. Then, I discuss how we can use this squeezing to improve qubit readout. This work is done in collaboration with Alexandre Blais and Nicolas Didier at the University de Sherbrooke.
