Abstract

While it is well known that entanglement cannot increase the asymptotic capacity of a classical channel for classical communication, recent results have shown that it can be beneficial at finite block lengths. In this talk I will show how strong upper bounds can be placed on the extent of this advantage by considering codes assisted by general non-signalling correlations, and how this also leads to a new interpretation of a classical result.
