We will demonstrate a tool for visually constructing and simulating quantum circuits. The tool is a work in progress, and we are looking for feedback from the community on what features would be useful for their research.

From invisibility cloaks to teleportation, Harry Potter’s world is filled with mystery and wonder. Yet this magical world is not so different from the world we inhabit. Just beneath the surface of our ordinary lives is a strange quantum reality.

We invite applications to "Women in Physics Canada", a three-day conference which will take place from Tuesday, July 19 to Thursday, July 21, 2011 jointly at Perimeter Institute and the Institute for Quantum Computing, Waterloo, Ontario. This conference, aimed at undergraduates and early graduates, is intended to provide support to young women in physics, and to encourage them to continue in a career in physics.
