The Institute for Quantum Computing (IQC) Advisory Board reconvened this week with a new chair and two new directors.
Mike Lazaridis takes on the chair role from founding chair, Tom Brzustowski. Lazaridis was instrumental in establishing IQC and has been a member of the IQC Advisory Board since its inception in 2005.
Mark Pecen, CEO of Approach Infinity, Inc., joined the board in May. He most recently co-authored a white paper on quantum safe cryptography and security that was presented at the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) workshop co-hosted by IQC in Ottawa last month.
Our most recent addition to the board is Peter E. Brown, senior practice partner with Deloitte Canada. Brown is a frequent speaker on topics of entrepreneurship and what makes best managed companies unique – he has written two books on the subject.
IQC welcomes our new directors to the board, congratulates the new chair and thanks outgoing chair Tom Brzustowski, who will remain on the board, for his dedication and commitment in making IQC what it is today.
