Discover the past, present and future of Southwestern Ontario Agriculture
As communities have urbanized, people have lost understanding of where and how their food is produced. This exhibit aims to reconnect people and food by exploring the past, present and future of Southwestern Ontario Agriculture. Visitors will explore the significance of agriculture to Southwestern Ontario, and understand the importance, but also the adverse effects, of modern farming methods. They then will discover more ecologically conscious alternatives that could help mitigate the standard harmful intensive techniques.
