Energy & Carbon Manager, Western University

Joan is a 2012 BKI grad who completed concurrent undergraduate degrees in Knowledge Integration and Systems Design Engineering with a French minor. They completed co-op terms in the software and building construction/facilities management industries at a mix of public sector and private sector organizations.

After graduation, Joan worked as a user experience designer at a tech start up for a couple years and tried out grad school before shifting into energy management. As Energy & Carbon Manager at Western University, she now works to decarbonize Western's campus and operations.
