Research Partnerships Officer, University of Waterloo

Alexandra is a 2014 BKI grad working at the University of Waterloo, in the Faculty of Math, as a Research Partnerships Officer. She says:

"In my role I support Faculty members in achieving and managing research partnerships. This includes academic, government, non-profit, and industry partnerships for research programs and projects. My KI training has aided me in working with professionals from a variety of backgrounds and expertise. Furthermore in drafting grants with subject experts for peer or general audience reviews. My role requires me to make connections between skills and interests of experts and the needs or requirements of industry partners, where they seemingly may not exist. I can do this with my KI background!​"
