Seeking input on the design of a KI Future Ready Program
Do you have trouble articulating what KI is? Do you feel that you are being intentional with developing your KI degree? Do you have plans for how to showcase your coursework and capstone projects?
This year KI professors Dr. Vanessa Schweizer and Dr. Katie Plaisance (currently on sabbatical), with student research assistants Amy Laughlin and Rowan Chang, are working together to research the best skills articulation models and student portfolio programs at other universities. A portfolio-style program for KI has been developed that will complement the existing KI curriculum and provide an opportunity for students to be more intentional with their degrees. This INTEG 10 session will provide an overview of our understanding of challenges that KI students face at times, a proposed plan for a KI Future Ready Program, and time to provide feedback on the design of the program.
Please see your KI weekly email update for the background document with an overview of the KI Future Ready Program and further resources. If you’re unable to attend in person, we would still love to see your thoughts posted on the session Padlet.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
