Taryn Dewar, 4th year KI student and varsity athlete, currently at the Ontario University Athletics swimming championships at Brock, qualified last night for the Canadian Interuniversity Sport swimming championships (Feb 20-22 @ U of T).
She qualified in the 200m breaststroke (that's an exhausting event!), and dropped 5+ seconds from her previous best. She's been training especially hard this year, and it sounds like her great work at the Florida training camp at Christmas is really paying off!

For her KI senior research project, she's connecting her KI interests and athletics by investigating the history of doping among varsity athletes at Canadian universities.
