GIS Day is on November 18, 2015 and is a global event to educate people about how geography makes a difference in our lives through the technology of Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
Agenda
12:30 - 3:00 pm - presentations (LIB 329)
Presentations will include talks from the GP481 GIS Project class, Geography Without Borders, and others. Check back for updates as the agenda evolves.
Geospatial Centre open house
Concurrently with the presentations there will be an open house at the Geospatial Centre in the Dana Porter Library. Refreshments will be served. There will also be a raffle — provide the correct answers to trivia questions about the Geospatial Centre for a chance to win one of two $50 gift cards for Amazon.ca.
