Canadian Science Publishing has launched Canada's first multidisciplinary open access science journal, Facets. This peer-reviewed ejournal publishes on a continuous basis and focuses on: biological and life sciences, biomedical and health sciences, earth and environmental sciences, engineering, technology, mathematics, integrative sciences and physical sciences.
Facets is currently waiving article processing charges (APCs) for manuscripts submitted by June 30, 2017, saving authors up to $1,350. Researchers who are new to publishing should familiarize themselves with the difference between these legitimate processing charges and the submission fees solicited by predatory open access publishers.
