Suffering from post-season 3 Stranger Things withdrawal? Did Starcourt Mall leave you feeling nostalgic for your childhood? University of Waterloo's Special Collections & Archives can help!

Business Insider has done some digging into a few of the mall's 80s-era stores that no longer exist, including Kaufman Shoes. They tie the store to Kaufman Footwear, a Canadian company based in Kitchener until declaring bankruptcy in 2000.

You can learn more about Kaufman Footwear and the founding family by visiting Special Collections & Archives. The Kaufman Footwear fonds include catalogues, documentation of formulae and compounds, corespondence, ephemera, photographs, sound recordings and more.

The archives include fonds relating many other local businesses, including Dare Foods, Electrohome and Seagram.
