Librarian and Information Specialist: Supporting knowledge synthesis research projects across campus

Much of the support librarians provide in an academic and research environment is through consultations, instructional workshops and providing online learning tools. They educate and guide scholars and researchers to build the systematic searching skills required to undertake their own projects.

Thank you for helping us exceed our goal this Giving Tuesday

The outpouring of support from the community for the Library on Giving Tuesday this year, November 28, helped us raise over $20,000 from 43 donors!

Our Challenge Champion, Don Cowan (MSC ’61, PHD ’65), helped us surpass our 2023 goal of raising $15,000 by matching donations up to $5,000. Donations to the Library came in early and often, encouraging an additional $1,500 in matching donations to further boost our success.
