COVID-19 continues to change rapidly across the world and we want to take steps to limit the spread and risks of the disease in our community. With this goal in mind, the University of Waterloo has suspended all in-person course-related activities and is asking all UW employees, faculty and students to work from home.

New UW Student Fees

Changes to CMHRT Billing as of September 2020

As of September 2020, fees for services will be charged directly to all CMHRT clients, including clients who are also students at the University of Waterloo. Client fees are charged on a sliding scale. Clients may be able to access insurance benefits (including UW student insurance through SunLife) for reimbursement. For more information about our fees for service, please visit Arranging Services & Fees.

Referrals for Comprehensive Psychological/Psychoeducational Assessments

We are re-opening our waitlist as of Monday May 4 2020 at 9:00 am to accept a limited number of referrals for Child & Adolescent comprehensive psychological (psychoeducational) assessments. The wait list will be closed again as of the end of July 2020. Please see our Children, Adolescents and Family Services web page for more information.

CMHRT Community Education Outreach

Clinical psychology graduate students from the Clinical Psychology Department and the Centre for Mental Health Research and Treatment at the University of Waterloo participated in the UW 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign this past November.
