Located just beside Environment 3 and Modern Languages, our new bike cage is a space which can accommodate up to 62 bicycles. The top racks feature a unique, extended rod that makes hanging and removing bikes easier. The shelter will accommodate standard-sized bicycles.
The bike cage project began as a student initiative to support more active and sustainable means of transportation to and from campus.
COST OF BIKE CAGE
The cost per month is $10.00 plus tax.
The permit can be purchase monthly, termly, or yearly. Undergrad, graduate, staff and faculty looking to purchase a space must have an active ongoing status to be eligible to purchase.
HOW TO OBTAIN BIKE CAGE ACCESS
If you are interested in purchasing a permit to access the space please email uparking@uwaterloo.ca. The space is available first come first serve until the space is full. Once the space is at capacity your name will be placed on a wait list. Permits for the shelter are only granted to those who are affiliated with the University of Waterloo (Student Number and/or Employee ID number).
