Welcome to the School of Pharmacy

The School of Pharmacy at the University of Waterloo is the first new pharmacy school in Canada in 20 years and housed in a state-of-the-art education and research building on the Health Sciences Campus in downtown Kitchener. 

We offer an innovative undergraduate pharmacy curriculum that integrates foundational knowledge in the biomedical and pharmaceutical sciences with applied skills in the clinical, behavioural and social sciences to prepare our graduates to serve as medication therapy experts.

    Since December 2016, Ontario pharmacists have been able to administer vaccines for 13 vaccine-preventable diseases in addition to influenza. Most of these are vaccinations related to travel. With flu season well underway, pharmacies are accessible locations for flu shots.

    The Waterloo School of Pharmacy is pleased to welcome Associate Clinical Professor J.M. Gamble to the faculty. Gamble joins Waterloo Pharmacy from Memorial University in Newfoundland.
