Preceptor Orientation Pre-Workshop Modules

Please find below 2 modules that must be reviewed prior to the live Preceptor Orientation Workshop (to be delivered by your Regional Clinical Coordinator).

The orientation workshop will build on the material presented in these 2 modules:

1. Introduction to Patient Care Rotations at the University of Waterloo module (16 minutes)
2. Patient Care Rotations – Clinical Practice Assessment module (16 minutes)

The Introduction to Patient Care Rotations at UWaterloo module will provide an overview of the School of Pharmacy PharmD curriculum, the Bridging Program, the Community of Practice model, Interprofessional Education and the 4 assessments used during patient care rotations.

The Patient Care Rotations – Clinical Practice Assessment module will provide an overview of the Clinical Practice Assessment tool. To complete this module it will be helpful to print and refer to a copy of the assessment and glossary document (links included below):
