Pharmacy ambassadors at March Break Open House 2022.

The School of Pharmacy’s Student Ambassador Program is a volunteer organization for pharmacy students who wish to share their experiences with prospective students and get involved with events at the School.

Events include (but are not limited to):

  • Virtual Info Session recruitment events
  • Waterloo Open Houses (March & November)
  • Admission interviews
  • CAP Reception
  • Orientation
  • Convocation
  • White Coat Ceremony
  • Reunion Weekend

Volunteering in this capacity is a great way to gain leadership skills (even if you aren’t formally serving in a leadership role), and to expand your confidence and comfort level in working with large groups of people. In this role, you have the opportunity to connect with faculty/staff, your fellow students, alumni, and prospective students.

Only Pharmacy Student Ambassadors are entitled to use the designation of University of Waterloo School of Pharmacy Student Ambassador. If an ambassador is unable to fulfill the program objectives, they relinquish the right to use the title.
