Today is Giving Tuesday and at Waterloo Pharmacy, we’re asking you to help us support pharmacy students who are interested in learning and working with communities in the north, remote regions, or internationally. Our current Hallman Director is challenging you to unlock $2,00 in support for the Student Success Fund.
“I’m donating to the Student Success Fund because I see great value in these unique experiential learning opportunities. My goal is to ensure that pharmacy students who are interested in learning and working with communities in the north, remote regions, or internationally have the chance to do so. Please join me as we support the research and healthcare leaders of tomorrow.” – Andrea Edginton, Hallman Director
Today only, Director Edginton will match donations made to the fund on Nov 29 up to a maximum of $2,000.
This fund supports “in the field” learning opportunities to give students the confidence to work within diverse communities across Canada and internationally to deliver equitable and exemplary patient care.
Additionally, the student success fund supports pharmacy students to attend conferences, provides graduate student awards, covers costs for student-led initiatives run by Waterloo Pharmacy clubs, and so much more.
Your gift will set our students up for success: Donate Today!

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is centralized within our Office of Indigenous Relations.
