Support Waterloo Pharmacy students this Giving Tuesday!
Your donation will support leadership opportunities for our students
Giving Tuesday is the world’s largest day of generosity.
At the Waterloo School of Pharmacy, we give our students the confidence to work within diverse communities across the country to deliver equitable and exemplary patient care by providing opportunities beyond the classroom that enhance personal and professional development.
The Student Success Fund covers or subsidizes the costs of many activities that help develop leadership skills including attending professional conferences, allowing PharmD and graduate students to explore learning opportunities in northern, remote or international communities and supporting a range of student-led activities.
On November 28 we’re asking you to make a gift that will impact our students.
Your contribution will help encourage students to embrace these personal and professional development opportunities, building skills to enhance their leadership abilities.
Help us raise $10,000 for the Student Success Fund. Hallman Director Andrea Edginton has personally pledged to donate $2,000 to this fund and professor Dave Edwards has pledged $1,000 once we hit our goal.
“We recognize the challenges and high costs that arise for students to attend unique experiences to foster their leadership skills. This year we are focusing on supporting the development of our future pharmacy leaders through the Student Success Fund to ensure equal opportunities are available. I’m donating to the Student Success Fund because I see the great value and potential to build leadership capacity. My goal is to empower and inspire our pharmacy students to achieve their full potential. Please join me as we support the development of our healthcare leaders of tomorrow.”
– Andrea Edginton, Hallman Director
