Welcome back class of 2014
Waterloo Pharmacy Rx2014s celebrate 10-year anniversary
We welcomed back the class of 2014 to the School for their 10-year anniversary reunion on October 26, 2024. Our 2014 alumni came together with their families for an afternoon of reconnecting, sharing memories and a tour of the School.
“Our class of Rx2014 had an amazing sense of community to it. We’d often hear stories of other classes and other schools where students would compete for better grades. Yet in our class we constantly worked together to help each other out. You could always find us either studying together at the school, helping each other on projects or assignments. And if we weren’t studying we were hanging out at events outside of the school. From SOPhS events, to charity fundraisers, birthday parties and open mic nights - our class was there to support one another. Both staff and students could tell our class was, almost comically, close.
When the realization that it had been 10 years since our graduation hit me, I knew I wanted to get together with whoever was available. This is a busy stage of life for many of us with families and businesses to run, so I was thrilled we had the turnout we did. Even now where some might look at pharmacists as competitors, I can’t help but feel so proud when I see what my classmates are accomplishing, and I think that’s in a big part due to the environment fostered at the University of Waterloo School of Pharmacy all those years ago,” says Dr. Kacie Lunn (Rx2104), Rx2014 reunion organizer.
Thank you for visiting us, we were so happy to have you back Rx2014s!
