President and CTO, Validere Technologies
Ian is President and CTO of Validere, a company that provides AI and IoT intelligence for the oil and gas industry. He graduated from UW Physics in 2008, followed by a PhD at Harvard in nanoscale optics and adaptive materials and several postdocs in biotech.
Four 4th years will briefly describe their own varied coop experiences and then we will open the floor for a panel Q&A. Come with your questions about the Coop process: finding a position, matching, academic vs. industry, courses you should take to prepare yourself for coop etc.
