As an undergraduate student in Physics and Astronomy, you’ll start with a strong core of general physics courses before diversifying your degree with one of our many specializations, including Honours Physics, Physics and Astronomy, Mathematical Physics, Biological and Medical Physics, and Materials and Nanosciences.
Physics not your main area of study? We also offer minors in Physics and Biophysics.

Our highly ranked co-op program is the largest in the world, giving you an edge in the job market post-graduation. Undergraduate students in Physics and Astronomy can apply to co-op or complete their studies as a regular four-year degree.
Graduate degrees
We offer thesis-based graduate training at both the master’s (MSc) and doctoral (PhD) level with programs in Physics, Nanotechnology, and Quantum information.
