Our special visitor

Former Premier Dalton McGuinty visited the Department of Political Science yesterday and gave a guest lecture on leadership to the PSCI 373 Parties, Elections, and Political Marketing class.  The students thought the talk was fabulous, and they posed interesting and insightful questions.  We are very thankful to Premier McGuinty for being so generous with his time.

Dr. Emmett Macfarlane organized a fantastic panel of current and former Chiefs of Staff for the CPSA meetings in Regina, Saskatchewan.  Dr. Anna Esselment moderated the panel, which included (from left) Katie Telford (current Chief of Staff to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau), Judy Samuelson (former Chief of Staff to Saskatchewan Premier Roy Romanow), and Dr. Ian Brodie (former Chief of Staff to Prime Minister Stephen Harper).  Panel was held on May 31st, 2018.
