What is the GEO Time Trail?

This is an easy 4km, 1 hr and 30-minute loop along the perimeter of Columbia Forest.

It’s a popular trail because the paths are in good shape and there is a nice mix of forest walks and signboards describing events that took place on earth over the past 4,000 million years.  Did you know, for example, that where Waterloo Region now exists there was a massive mountain range that stretched to the coast of labrador? Or that the GEO Time Trail goes past the remains of an earlier kettle lake? Join us for a fun excursion.

See you at the trailhead!
