Professor Heather Keller, a registered dietitian, will discuss the basics of a healthy diet that supports longevity and brain health. There will be a focus on key nutrients we need more of as we age and the importance of social interactions to living well.
Professor Laura Middleton, an expert in exercise for brain health and dementia risk, will explain how movement, aerobic training and strength work protect brain health and cognitive function in people of any cognitive ability.
Together, they will offer practical, science‑backed guidance to help UW retirees stay strong, independent, and mentally sharp.”
