River running through a gold, yellow and green forest along the Walter Bean Trail.

The Marguerite Ormston trailway - Walter Bean Trail in the autumn.

The Marguerite Ormston hike is a wonderful outing that provides nice views of the Grand River and Schneider Creek. The walk is approx. 7km through well-marked trails. For the most part, the trail is flat and easy. However, there are a couple of fairly steep hills and a few rough areas along the path. Depending on the weather and ground cover, hikers should consider good boots and poles. Count on a walk of 1 ½ to 2 hrs. Your hike leader will be Howard Armitage.
