Professor Amir Khajepour and his team at the Mechatronic Vehicle Systems Laboratory have successfully launched the WATonoBus: the first driverless, autonomous 5G shuttle in Canada!

“Today’s demonstration represents over four years of work with support and collaboration with government and industry partners,” professor Amir Khajepour said. “This is an exciting step forward in autonomous, driverless public transportation.”
