Dana Kulic

Adjunct Associate Professor

Professor Dana Kulić
Professor Dana Kulić is the Director of the Robotics research group at Monash University and is an expert in humanoid robotics, human-robot interaction and intelligent systems.

While at the RoboHub, Professor Kulić led our humanoid-based research. The full-size humanoid robot in the RoboHub, TALOS, is the first of its kind in Canada and has instantly made the University of Waterloo a key centre for humanoid robotics. Two key application areas that Prof. Kulić and her team worked on include:

  1. Human-robot interaction to enable safe and intuitive collaboration between robots and non-experts in natural environments, and
  2. Improving human motion measurement and analysis tools for rehabilitation and musculoskeletal injury prevention.

See Professor Kulić's faculty profile for more details about her work outside of the RoboHub.
