Professor Dana Kulić is an expert in humanoid robotics, human-robot interaction and intelligent systems.
At the RoboHub, Professor Kulić leads our humanoid-based research. The full-size humanoid robot in the RoboHub, TALOS, is the first of its kind in Canada and will instantly make the University of Waterloo a key centre for humanoid robotics. Two key application areas that Prof. Kulić and her team work on will include:
- Human-robot interaction to enable safe and intuitive collaboration between robots and non-experts in natural environments, and
- Improving human motion measurement and analysis tools for rehabilitation and musculoskeletal injury prevention.
See Professor Kulić's department profile for more details about her work outside of the RoboHub.
