Post-Doctoral Fellow
Jonathan works on understanding and classifying the kinematics and dynamics of human motion, particularly applied to healthy and rehabilitation exercises. Human motion is difficult to analyze due to high intra- and inter-personal variability between healthy and rehabilitation participants, necessitating the need for algorithms specifically designed and tested for in-clinic applications.
His previous research during his MASc and PhD included the application of wearable sensors to determine body joint angles and estimation motion segmentation points using machine learning approaches.
See Jonathan's UW Scholar Profile for more details on his work outside the RoboHub.
