James W.E. Rush, vice-president, academic and provost, is pleased to announce the appointment of Professor Chris Houser as dean of the Faculty of Science for a five-year term commencing 1 July 2023.

The University of Waterloo has appointed Murray Gamble (BASc ’85 Civil Engineering) as chair of the University of Waterloo’s Board of Governors. His term of office begins May 1, 2023 and will run for three years.

The June Orientation session for all Governors will be held on 6 June from 8:15 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
