
The Sustainability Office is thrilled to host our ninth-annual Eco Summit to showcase sustainability achievements, celebrate progress, and build connections for the year ahead with our campus community.
This year, our summit will focus on ways we can work together to connect sustainability to our own skills, careers, and unique roles at Waterloo – whether that’s living, working, or learning. We are all part of the sustainability story on campus, and we hope attendees will leave empowered and excited about their role to play.

This month of July, Plant Operations - Environmental Services have teamed up with the Sustainability Office to highlight a Plastic-Free July. To do so, we welcome the University community to take the Plastic Free Pledge!

Biking can be intimidating for new riders who wish to commute sustainably to and from campus. During 2022, the University of Waterloo wants to encourage all experience and new riders to sign up for TravelWise's bikepool program. This program supports new riders learning from experienced riders in travelling and commuting in our community.
